We find that there are a few questions that are often asked, so to save you time we've put together some FAQ's with our answers. We hope you find this helpful.

Q: We are planning an event with a theme, are you able to design the stationery to incorporate our theme?

Q: We are using colour to tie together our wedding and would like to reflect this in all our stationery, is this something that you can help us with?

Q: We are planning an event with a theme, are you able to design the stationery to incorporate our theme?

A: Oh Yes we do enjoy a challenge and creating themed stationery is always good fun.

Q: We are using colour to tie together our wedding and would like to reflect this in all our stationery, is this something that you can help us with?

A: This is no problem at all. As standard we provide a tailored service which means that we can offer our stationery in a wide variety of colours. If you are able to provide a colour swatch, we will do our best to colour match it with materials used in our stationery.

Q: Can you provide us with some samples without having a meeting to view your portfolio?

A: Our service is completely based around creating stationery tailored to express your individual style, which is difficult to achieve without meeting you and hearing your initial comments about our portfolio cards. However, if meeting is really very difficult for you then we are prepared to consider consultation via email and phone. After the remote consultation we can then provide samples. We don't provide samples without your review of our portfolio as this gives us an invaluable assessment of your taste.

Q: Can we choose the font/type face used on our stationery?

A: Yes, once you have placed your order with us, we will provide you with a sample list of fonts for you to choose from, our aim is to make your stationery as individual as possible.

Q: I have seen lots of different ways of wording used for the type of stationery that I would like to order, do you offer more than one layout?

A: Just as with the font, we also provide a variety of wording options for you to choose from.

Q: I would like Assemblage Event Stationery to design and produce my stationery, but I have not placed my order yet, Can I place a reservation on your services?

A: As soon as we receive your enquiry, we will automatically pencil you into our diary. We will then meet with you for our free consultation and following this we will present our sample. On presentation of our sample to you, we will also provide you with a quotation and order form. Your reservation will be held for the 30 day validity period of the quotation. Should you place an order within this period the booking is of course secured. However, if you are unable to place an order within 30 days of the presentation, but you do wish for us to make your stationery, we ask for a commitment fee of £50. This extends the reservation for a further 30days. The commitment fee will, of course, be deducted from your deposit on booking. This gives you security in the knowledge that your reservation won't be overridden by someone else's booking.

Q: When do I need to place my order?

A: We recommend that you place your order as soon as possible after our presentation of the sample. This not only secures our services but will enable us to obtain the materials for your order, thereby ensuring that the delivered product is constructed of the same materials as used in your sample. Products used in the creation of our stationery are subject to change.

Q: We'd like a photograph to feature on our stationery, and would like to take the photographs ourselves. Do you have any suggestions of how best to do this?

A: We have found this a very common question and so we have created photography help sheets to give you a few pointers. You will find our helpsheets on our [download] page.


Q: We'd like a photograph to feature on our birth announcement stationery; can you recommend a photographer for this?

A: Yes, Alex Whittle Photography (www.alexwhittle.com) provides the perfect solution, with a visit to your home, the photo's can be taken in comfort. Please let him know that your photographs are for your stationery.
